Family Reunion

The Scottish Family Reunion Service (SFRS) is a joint collaboration between JustRight Scotland and the British Red Cross Society working together to provide an enhanced casework service for refugees who wish to bring their family members to Scotland.

We specialise in reuniting families that have been torn apart by conflict and persecution. We:

  • Provide an enhanced casework service making applications for family reunion for refugees based in Scotland. We specifically target applications involving children;
  • Work closely with the British Red Cross and other services in Scotland to ensure the reunification process goes smoothly;
  • Advocate for positive changes to the law and policy at the national level on family reunion; and
  • Provide rights-based information through public legal education and training.
