Jennifer Cook is Head of Operations at JustRight Scotland, providing strategic leadership across people, systems, and organisational governance. She oversees HR, operational planning, risk, compliance, and digital infrastructure, ensuring the organisation has the structures required to deliver high-quality, rights-based legal services.
Her approach centres dignity, participation, and trauma-informed practice, championing staff wellbeing, progressive HR, and equitable ways of working. She is particularly focused on building resilient systems, strengthening organisational culture, and future-proofing JRS through clear processes, effective digital tools, and collaborative leadership. Jennifer brings a strong commitment to feminist and intersectional leadership, with an emphasis on transforming workplaces so that people can genuinely thrive.
Prior to joining JustRight Scotland, Jennifer held roles in HR, operations, and quality assurance within the charity sector, including responsibility for ISO9001 accreditation and external audits. Her experience includes policy development, governance, and leading digital and systems improvement to strengthen information governance and compliance.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys books, music, and imaginative adventures with her son.
