Niamh is a solicitor in our Scottish Anti-Trafficking & Exploitation Centre. She is a qualified solicitor in both Scotland and England and Wales and has been working in the social justice sector since 2019.
Niamh studied Law and Spanish at the University of Glasgow and was an intern at JustRight Scotland’s Refugee and Migrant Centre in the final year of her studies. She then completed a traineeship with the Legal Affairs and Human Rights Committee at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe before moving to London. In London, Niamh worked for two legal charities, the AIRE Centre and Public Law Project. She has experience working on strategic public law and immigration cases representing individuals and organisations.
She is passionate about trying to redress societal power imbalances.
